FBPE staff conducted an audit of the PE licenses renewed so as to verify compliance with the continuing education requirements. It was very surprising when the audit found that 112 of the 1,051 licensees audited were out of compliance.

To put it simply: FBPE is a regulatory board, overseeing the engineering profession in Florida. And FEMC is a not-for-profit, public-private corporation that provides administrative, investigative, and prosecutorial services to the Board.
