As life goes on, virtual graduations are everywhere, and newly minted engineers are looking for real jobs. It is important for them to understand the pros and cons of career choices they make and how it affects professional growth. Though most engineers are aware of the four years of required experience for licensure, it appears they are generally not aware of what constitutes acceptable qualifying engineering experience for licensure.

FBPE Temporarily Expands Signing, Sealing Rules
UPDATED: The Florida Board of Professional Engineers has approved an emergency rule temporarily expanding the use of electronically or digitally signed and sealed engineering plans and documents to include printed copies in order to effectuate the Governor and State Health Officer’s orders regarding self-quarantine to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
NCEES Sets October 2020 PE Exams, Dates
UPDATED: The cancellation of the April 2020 paper-and-pencil exam administration affected approximately 16,000 examinees. To accommodate these examinees, the format of the October 2020 exam administration will be modified.
