Professional Engineer Licenses Available for October Exams
Florida Professional Engineer license numbers have been issued for those who passed the October 2018 Principles & Practice of Engineering exam, and licenses, along with a wallet cards, can now be printed from an electronic file
Last Days to Save $10 on PE Renewals
Professional Engineers can renew their Florida license for $88.75 through Tuesday, Jan. 15. On Wednesday, Jan. 16, the fee returns to $98.75.
Printing PE Licenses, Certificates of Authorization
Beginning last November, Professional Engineer licenses and Certificates of Authorization for engineering firms in Florida are no longer being mailed to you. You must print your own license. We can help.
Chair’s Corner: Looking Forward to a New Year
I am very much looking forward to this year, while leaving 2018 behind and all the challenges I had last year. We have now entered a new year, 2019. All Professional Engineers licensed in Florida know what that means. Because it is an odd year, 2019 is a license renewal year. So, I thought it would be helpful to remind all Florida licensed engineers of some key components required as part of the license renewal process.
FBPE Appoints Chair, Vice Chair for 2019
The Florida Board of Professional Engineers re-appointed Kenneth Todd, PE, as its chair for the 2019 term, and appointed Babu Varghese, PE, SI, CGC, CCC, as its vice chair for 2019. The appointments were made at the Board’s December meeting.
Three Named as FEMC Directors
The Florida Engineers Management Corporation welcomed three new directors to its board of directors on Nov. 1, 2018. Safiya Brea, PE, Satya Sukumar Lory, PE, and Art Nordlinger, PE, were appointed to four-year terms by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers.
