The certification requirements for the Special Inspector of Threshold Buildings (SI) have gone through a rigorous rule-making process. Though the requirements for the SI certification were not changed, a new class of certification was introduced called SI (Limited).

The Florida Engineers Management Corporation produces an annual report as required by Florida Statutes. The report is submitted to FBPE, the Secretary of DBPR, and the Florida Legislature by Oct. 1 each year. It reports on the status of the corporation, including information concerning FEMC programs and funding, as well as information regarding licenses and complaints handled by FEMC.
