Licensee was charged with violating Section 471.033(1)(a), Florida Statutes and Rule 61G15-19.001(6)(s), Florida Administrative Code; renewing his Professional Engineer license without having completed all required continuing education. Licensee renewed his Professional Engineer license without having completed the Laws & Rules Course, the Ethics Course and 7.5 hours of General Engineering on or before February 28, 2017. Licensee did complete some of the outstanding Continuing Education courses. To date, licensee lacks one hours of Florida Laws & Rules, one hour of Engineering Ethics, and 5.5 hours of general engineering.
Ruling: The case was presented to the full Board upon a Motion for Determination that Respondent Forfeited his right to an Administrative Hearing. The Board imposed a Suspension until licensee appears before the Board, an Administrative Fine of $1,000 and Costs of $124.80. Final Order was issued on July 16, 2019.
