Licensee signed, dated, and sealed engineering documents for the City of Tarpon Springs that related to matters that were not prepared under the engineer’s responsible supervision, direction, or control.
Ruling: The case was presented to the full Board upon a Settlement Stipulation. The Board imposed an administrative fine of $1,000 and costs of $1,628.15, a Reprimand, successful completion of a Board-approved course in basic engineering professionalism and ethics, and successful completion of the Board’s Study Guide.
