In Case No. 2A19049770, respondent violated Section 471.031(1)(a) & (b), F.S., by practicing engineering and using the title “Professional Engineer” without a license.
Ruling: The Board assessed and imposed an administrative fine in each case of $5,000 for a total administrative fine of $10,000, and administrative costs from each case, in the amount of $146.25 and $117, respectively, for total administrative costs of $263.25; referred the matter to the State Attorney’s Office; and requested that the Department of Business and Professional Regulation seek a civil injunction against the Respondent. Final Order was issued on July 1, 2020.
