As we thank PJ Shah, PE, for serving as the Board’s vice chair in 2023, let’s look ahead to the new year.
As we thank PJ Shah, PE, for serving as the Board’s vice chair in 2023, let’s look ahead to the new year.
Starting with the renewal period beginning November 2024, PEs will not only have to click the button declaring that they have completed their required CE hours, but they will also have to provide documentation that they have done so.
The engineering profession operates in a sea of uncertainty and risk. Successful engineers are the ones who are able to minimize the uncertainty and risk to avoid adverse consequences. Of course, minimizing risk and eliminating risk are two very different things.
The Florida Board of Professional Engineers reappoints its chair and selects a new vice chair for 2024; the Florida Engineers Management Corporation reappoints it chair and vice chair.
The Florida Board of Professional Engineers appointed Edward Gonzalez, PE, to the corporate board of the Florida Engineers Management Corporation at FBPE’s December meeting in Tallahassee, Fla. Mr. Gonzalez succeeds Stephen Kowkabany, PE.
FBPE applauds everyone who passed NCEES exams in the previous quarter. We wish them much success as they move toward the next step in their engineering careers.
