On Friday, March 6, 2020, FBPE staff met with senior engineering students at the University of West Florida. FBPE Executive Director Zana Raybon discussed how to become a Professional Engineer with nearly three dozen students in a Capstone Design class taught by Dr. Thomas Gilbar, associate chair of UWF’s Hal Marcus College of Electrical and Computer Engineering and its Fort Walton Beach coordinator.
Dr. Gilbar’s class was split between UWF’s Fort Walton Beach campus and its main campus in Pensacola, where the majority of the students participated via distance-learning video.
