Around 75 students taking an Introduction to Civil Engineering class at the University of Florida’s Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering learned about the process of becoming a Professional Engineer from FBPE staff on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017.
FBPE Executive Director Zana Raybon explained the steps for preparing for and taking the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and requirements for taking the Principles & Practice (PE) exam to earn licensure.
The class introduces sophomores and juniors to the broad field of civil engineering and helps them determine in which area they might want to focus their studies.
