FBPE staff attended the first meeting of the fall semester for the University of Florida College of Engineering’s student chapter of the Florida Engineering Society on Tuesday evening, Aug. 27, 2019.
The meeting opened with an icebreaker quiz game, then FES chapter officers provided information about the chapter and upcoming events. FBPE Executive Director Zana Raybon then gave a talk on becoming a Professional Engineer in Florida and what is required, including details about education, experience, and examinations, as well as the Florida Board of Professional Engineers, the Florida Engineers Management Corporation, and the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
