During the opening afternoon of the 2018 ASCE Southeast Student Conference, teams of engineering students set up their steel bridges around Gainesville’s Depot Park on Thursday, March 1.
With the build competition coming the next day, participants were first judged on their display, which included the bridge’s appearance, whether it includes the university’s name on it, and the quality and content of the display’s poster.
