Subject was charged with violating Section 471.031(1)(a), Florida Statutes; practicing engineering without a license. At one time, the subject held a license as a Professional Engineer in Florida. On February 28, 2011, the Professional Engineer license became null and void for non-renewal. Subject issued, signed and sealed an engineering inspection report on July 15, 2014.
Ruling: The case was presented to the full Board based upon the subject’s failure to timely respond to the properly served Administrative Complaint. The Board imposed Costs of $210.60 and an Administrative Fine of $5,000. A Final Order was issued on July 5, 2016.
