The National Council of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors has released its schedule for transitioning all Principles & Practice of Engineering (PE) and the Structural Engineering (SE) exams to computer-based testing.

The PE Chemical and Nuclear exams move to CBT this year. The PE Environmental and Petroleum exams join them in 2019, with others to following yearly through 2024.

The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam went to CBT in 2014. It, like the upcoming CBT exams, are offered at Pearson VUE test centers.

Complete information about the transition is available on the NCEES website.

Below is the tentative conversion schedule. Official notification and details for each transitioning exam will be provided by NCEES a year in advance.
