Professional Engineers can renew their Florida license for $88.75 through Friday, Jan. 15. On Saturday, Jan. 16, the fee returns to $98.75.
The $10 discount applies only to current/active PE licenses (not to delinquent licenses). Both fees include a mandatory $5 unlicensed activity fee.
Please be aware that if you have not answered both attestation questions in the renewal process (steps 24 and 25 in our online instructions), your license will not be renewed and, if you answer the questions after Jan. 15, you will be required to pay the $10 that you would have otherwise saved.
Don’t forget, your PE license will expire after Feb. 28, and you will no longer be able to sign and seal engineering documents beginning March 1.
