This competition is to test universities in concrete mix design as well as a fun competition on the shuffleboard courts. One team per university participated in the competition with each team being comprised of four students.
Each team brought 4 discs along with one optional additional disc as a back-up and was decorated with their university logo (and additional decoration if desired) and had to conform to a specific concrete mix design and dimensional and weight tolerances. Each submitted disc was judged on three criteria: Adherence to the concrete mix design; Conformity to the size and weight tolerances and Aesthetic.
