After a day-and-a-half on the main campus of the University of Florida, the 2018 ASCE Southeast Student Conference activities moved to the university’s Lake Wauburg, south of Gainesville, on Saturday, March 3.
The major activity at Lake Wauburg was the Concrete Canoe competition. Two-person teams from participating universities competed in races, including women’s endurance, men’s endurance, women’s sprint, men’s sprint, and coed sprint.
On land, students participated in other events, including Camp Cornhole, Horseshoe Hoedown, Tug o’War, and Spirit T-Shirt design.
