Renewal for all Professional Engineers licensed in Florida opened on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024. The last day to renew your license is Feb. 28, 2025.
- Continuing-education hours earned between March 1, 2023, and Feb. 28, 2025, must be completed and reported by midnight Feb. 28, 2025. See our step-by-step instructions on how to report your continuing education.
- The renewal deadline is midnight Feb. 28, 2025. Current, active licenses that are not renewed become delinquent on March 1, 2025, and delinquent licenses become null and void.
- The renewal fee for a current/active license is $49 (the renewal fee of $44 plus a mandatory $5 fee to combat unlicensed activity).
- The renewal fee for a delinquent license is $74 (the current renewal fee of $44 plus a mandatory $5 fee to combat unlicensed activity) plus any outstanding fees from the previous renewal period.
- The renewal fee for an inactive license is $49 (the renewal fee of $44 plus a mandatory $5 fee to combat unlicensed activity).
- PE licenses are no longer being mailed. If you have a current license, you will be emailed a PDF of your license, which can be printed, after you have renewed it. Instructions for requesting a PDF of your license are available at fbpe.org/print-my-license/.
Do not start your renewal until you confirm that your Florida Laws & Rules course has been reported to DBPR by your CE provider. If the course does not appear in your account at myfloridalicense.com, contact your provider and do not proceed with renewal until the course has been reported.
