Licensee was charged with one count of negligence in the practice of engineering. This negligence resulted from Mr. Stitgen signing and sealing materially deficient documents submitted for permitting that were not in compliance with applicable code requirements or acceptable engineering principles.
Ruling: The Board accepted the proposed Settlement Stipulation and issued a Final Order imposing a reprimand, payment of fines and costs, appearance, probation for two years with project reviews at six and 18 months, successful completion of the Professionalism and Ethics course and study guide. A Final Order was issued February 29, 2012.
