More than 300 middle school students from across the state competed in the Florida Mathcounts Competition, organized by the Florida Engineering Society, in Orlando on Friday, March 22. The sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students competed as teams and individuals. The top four individuals will represent Florida at the national Mathcounts competition in May.
Representatives from FBPE were there as volunteers, and to promote careers in engineering.
