Pursuant to Rule 61G15-37.001(11), Florida Administrative Code, the Florida Engineers Management Corporation is required to post all Final Orders involving active disciplinary cases to the website until the terms of the final order are completed, or until the licensee becomes inactive, retires, relinquishes the license, or permits the license to become null and void. Included in this section are all current active cases in which final action has been taken by the Board, and a brief description of the licensee’s violation and discipline, as well as a link to the final order.

If you would like to verify whether or not an engineer or firm has been previously disciplined, please go to myfloridalicense.com.

Any member of the public may request information about disciplinary or enforcement actions. All information, records, and transcriptions regarding such actions are available to the public for inspection or copying except information that is otherwise confidential or exempt from Section 119.07(1), Florida Statutes, when the investigation ceases to be active, when probable cause has been found, or when a case is closed by the Probable Cause Panel or FEMC.

Please be advised that pursuant to Chapter 119, F.S., FEMC/FBPE must comply with all requests for public records. If you would like to request public case information on a professional engineer or firm, please use the online Public Records Request form or email publicrecords@fbpe.org. It is important to include as much information as possible when you are making a public records request. To the extent possible, please include:

  • Name of Licensee or Certification of Authorization (CA) holder
  • License or CA number
  • Case number (if available)
  • What specific information you are requesting (i.e., licensee records, disciplinary actions, case disposition, case complaint and supporting documents, consultant reports, etc.)

If you have any questions related to the cases posted in this section or about the complaint/disciplinary process, please contact FBPE’s Legal Department at (850) 521-0500.
